Hi,

Just wondering who is running sway bars in a 2007 (BF MKII) Typhoon Rspec. I've heard good things about whiteline?

Is there a particular recommendation for the front/back specifically for the Rspec?

Cheers...

If you do a search there's a bit thread on when Erko tested almost every option out. He found that if you dont want to replace the shocks, just get a 27mm adjustable Whiteline swaybar for the front, and leave the back stock. If my memory serves me correctly this had the best results. Thanks to Haydn and his old man we put one in mine a few weeks ago and it's made a massive difference, that and some king springs in the rear stopped the tail from wanting to slide out around the race track :spoton:

I just rang Fulcrums Suspension and they have two front 27mm Whiteline sway bars:

- Swaybar-h/duty Blade adjustable BFF21Z R 1 27mm ($210)

- Swaybar-heavy duty BFF21 R 1 27mm ($290)

For the extra $80 am I better off getting the adjustable? The dude reakons I will be able to fit them myself.

dunno how wothwhile going adjustable is, I just went with the standard 27mm in the front.

Made a hell of a difference - altho I put a 22mm bar in the rear aswell..

Yep you'll be able to install it your self, the hardest part was getting the car up the ramps without ripping the front bar off, the rest is just unbolt the old and bolt up the new.

I made the trip over to Fulcrum this afternoon and got the 'Swaybar-h/duty Blade adjustable BFF21Z R 1 27mm for $290 (typo above).

Its in the lounge-room and my missus isn't very impressed  , but tomorrow I'll rip it into the Typhoon and take it for a test drive... :roflmbo:

Did you ask those fukers when the diff bushes etc. are gonna be ready? It's been like a year...

Leave your sway on the medium holes, this gives the best result :gunsfiring:

Hmmm - my 'adjustable' swaybars only have two holes... I'll have to do some reading/search the forum because the instructions are terrible. :sleepystuff:

2 holes either side = 3 combinations and therefore 3 settings - soft (inner = inner), medium (inner = outer) and hard (outer = outer).

I have the 27mm non adjustable and 22mm rear. they are a great mod for the $$$.

if you leave the bar at middle setting that is the same as the 27mm non adjustable.

I had problems with noise from the d bushes (poly) so changed them over to rubber yesterday, much better!
