You know, it would probably be cheaper to take flying lessons in a cessna!

Done that too!! I prefer the model planes over the real thing personally....

my husband also used to fly model planes, but now spends too much time in the shed...so all his planes are being neglected and collecting dust. I would love for him to some day bring them out again or maybe even join a club..but I don't see that happening

Thats some impressive planes you have there Benny!

I have been into RC cars for a long time and have always rated my self as bit of driver. I recently decided to try out something different in the RC world:

post-7403-1226095963_thumb.jpg

After hours and hours of trainer time, 15 battery packs of flying time and 3 set of main rotor blades i can finally hover for about 20 seconds and maintian my heading and position.

I have never ever had a hobby that was so incredibly frustrating and rewarding at the same time!!:blink::spit::spoton:

My brother in law flys those. It's a sh*tload of fun but it takes more than SMS trained thumbs to do anything as you mentioned :spoton:

yeah my big goofy gorilla hands dont do me too many favours..... :spoton: You have to constantly adjust the controls to get the fircking thing to stay and one spot and the adjustments as so small you can barely make out the movements on the Transmitter. I guess after time it becomes second nature

My father has flown models(planes and helicopters) for most of his life. Great hobby. He was importing them for a while but gave that away.

He was also the australian champ in choppers for a few years, back in the 90's

Should add an option of: "Dealing helped me by a T".

Because there are plenty of young guys who financed their T through that method. (I know a few).

Sure are a few young fathers on here too, hehe. Guess it's better to get that out the way when you're in your early 20s.

Well done my bit for the financial crisis....

Have bought a house and rolled the loan for the T into the mortgage

Im only paying $15 more a week on a mortgage than I was on my personal loan for the T, loving it!!!

I had the shortest possible loan term, that's why the payments on the T were nearly as much as a morgage.

Moving in on Thrusday, cant wait
