Well when I was 16 I bought a block of land for $40,000, didnt bulid on it till three years ago. Before I started to build the land was valued at $220,000, built a big house and now total value of house and land is around $800,000(give or take with todays economy). Left school at end of year 10, then got a job as a apprentice lecko. Now have a well paying government job still as a leko, the mrs is a school teacher at a private school. I dont see why its that far fetched that I can afford a $400000 home loan. We pay extra a week and its only $1000 per week. I paid for my phoon with my savings as I didnt need a deposite for the house because of the equity in the land. Now with the equity in the house I can borrow against it to get my rental. Need to know anymore about my finances just let me know....

A 50 square house down here costs around $200k... If you had to take out over $400k to build it, must be huge... Triple story? Tennis courts? 6 car garage for your other lambo and porsche?

Please tell me where you can get 50 f*ckin squares of livable house built for around $200k? Wake up worm, this ain't 1984. A 50 sq house with the sh*ttest builder would cost you almost $300k to build, and that's with no carpets, no tiles and no almost everything else.

Down here, a complete house for $200k would get you 20 to 25 sqs + the land. Stay in school worm.

who gives a fck how so and so got what , making judgments on people you know nothing about get's you no where , I wish I was a bit smarter when I was younger with money but hay I had a bloody good time , and I don't hold any grudges towards people who do things a different way than I did .
