Guest Guests Posted 30/10/08 01:30 AM Share Posted 30/10/08 01:30 AM That's fair enough about the family situation & your priorities are where mine would be in a similar situation, but 99% of young guys on here that I know don't have a family yet including myself. If you didn't have a wife & kid to spend all your money on where would your $90k per annum go?? On a house & nice car or under the mattress for a rainy day?? I live with my girlfriend of 4 years and we share all the costs, I pay for the car and rent and she pays for food and bills, it all works out *beep* dorey and we still have plenty of disposable income. Living where we do right now (canberra) it is extreamly difficualt for anyone not on 100+ to get a loan big enough to buy a house around here. When I get out of defence my whole situation will change, however I wont get out of defence until I can get a job which is financially viable (eg. complany that allows salary packaging, making 75+ blah blah blah)

If that means spending money on your family or house or car then so be it....
Broaders77 Member 73 Member For: 16y 4m 9d Posted 30/10/08 04:40 AM Share Posted 30/10/08 04:40 AM I own my T and my Audi A4TQ outright and have the deposit ready for a house. Will look to buy in 6 months or so when my wife finishes her maternity leave. We've been working in London and saving all those delicious pounds so we're pretty well set up now, even with 1 income and a new bub.I bought my first car new and on finance and it crippled me for 5 years, so never again! Thinking about going to the gym to make my ass worth more on the street, would love an FG F6.Scotty
