Can anyone give me a tyre make on what will fit on a 19 x 8.5 and a 19 x 9.5 rim.

I've been told that a 245 x 35 will fit the front (8.5), but not the rear. Then the next place I go to say that the 245 will fit on a 9.5 rim.

Does a 245 fit the rim, but does the rim sit out wider than the tyre?

I'd much prefer a wider rear tyre, ie 265, but I cannot find a tyre brand that has a 245 x 35 and a 265 x 30.

Surely someone has this setup and can help.

Cheers.

I run a hankook s1 evo 275/30/19 on the rear of my ute and they are pretty well priced for the level of performance you get! very impressed with them.

Cheers for all of that info fellas.

I've heard some good b*llsh*t stories so far in my quest for rims and tyres. All sorts of crap of what is legal and what isn't, what will and what wont fit. It's starting to do my f f*cking head in.

Quick question though, is it illegal to have 245's on the front with 275's on the rear? I thought they had to be within an inch of each other.

F6rspec, I've driven to mandurah and to clarkson looking at rims and tyres so no place is too far, well within reason anyway.

Cheers all

yes it is illegal the law is your allowerd to go the next size up or down. so if u got 245 front then 255 or 265 rear but must be same series profile.but then 2 put 255 or 265 on rear u need 9inch or bigger rim then it make rim front and back rim different so it become illegal
