whats up everyone im really loving the site. plenty know how on here. but im just a little bit stuck in a pickle. its time to get a new ute so first thing comes to mind was a ba turbo ute. so for the last few weeks I've been doing more and more research on then and comparing models engines etc..

so by now I know im getting a ford turbo ute but dont know which one. after taking a couple f6 tornados out they go very hard and with the prices going down on the old models seems like a good time to get into a FPV ute.

an then I began looking into the FG x6T ute havent drive one yet though but that will be done next. im just starting to get used to the front of them. I love the whole fg fpv range they just got it perfect 1st go. now its the xr's I need getting used to for me. I just need to see a few more on the roads I think.

so I have picked a few to choose from and would like some comments with my choise and good points and bad points of vehicles.

1. ba/f xr6t ute manual (this ones kinda outta the question by now)

2. bf f6 ute manual.

3. fg xr6t ute man

Hard to say but where I live everyone wants current shape so out of shape models dont sell for as much .. Being th FG is new you might be able to turn it around in 3-4 years with it still looking current...

Up to you I have an FG xr8 ute on order ..Not rapt on the front end but it will grow on me I spose

cheers utemad

lol my dream ute would be a bf tornado :( but I'm from new zealand and have never seen 1 for sale lol

my dream ute too :crybaby:

thanks for replies guys although the fg are nice I think I might go a bf either xr6t ute or tornado (depending how much $$ I can gather up). bf's looks so much tougher than the new ones for some reason, I think its the front end that makes it like that.

cheers.

Not offended, after a while, I found the new tray is much better looking than the previous model, may looks a bit funny in the photos but much better when looking at the real thing. Put it this way, it is one of the few obvious difference between FG and previous model.

just a quick update, ive been going hard on testing everything turbo. cant say im over-ly impressed with the fg turbo ute (there pretty awesome) but probly cause it was auto but I drove a manual turbo and just seem to pull alot harder through gears. dont get me wrong they new ones are pretty good but for the same price im hunting down for a bf tornado, found a couple and getting them sorted out now.

F*&K me dead though the new f6 auto & manual HAMMER!!! I couldnt get approved on one though because of being a first loan and all but they said they will get a new xr6t ute (pushing me to actually). oh well hopefully in a couple of weeks I will be in a bf tornado... wish me luck!!:D:D
