Been there had that fight a few times...

HAHAHAwell when I got defected for too low all I did was replaced the rear springs with standard ones (easiest springs to change) and that lifted it up a bit then went straight down to vicroads and got it cleared no problem lol some fat old lady with a stick checked it no problems! looked a bit ridiculous but ahh well oh yeh im full Lebo so its expected of me haha

Went to a club called White Charlie and left just before 2am. I saw they were detouring cars off chapel and into the safeway carpark as they saw fit, dodgy as...there was one cop on a power trip, my mrs had one drink and just to be sure she asked to get breathtested and he was such a dick about it, he basically said "I'm not going to breath test you now and if you get in that car and drive off we'll pull you up down the road for RBT" blah blah f*ck off wa*ker, that's what you get for doing the right thing. What I am about to say is going to sound about as gay as a three man spit roast. However Purvie, as most people on here are aware you can skull a drink rinse out your mouth and blow an acceptable BAC, however shortly afterwards be well over. This is an extremes case and not something that is common practice. But the police officer being approached not through a normal course of events, would be very hesitant to Breatalyse someone and then have them drive away, if that person were to crash and an above BAC be part of the cause the police officer could be held liable.Whislt I dont know the exact juristictions and conditions, I can assure you that there will be some and that to cover the police and indeed the officer, a proper site would need to be set up and a correct course of action take place. Or alternatively, the would have to be signs of intoxications or a vehicle accident for the police to justify breatalysing a member of the community.Call police whatever you want, but in this case the decision made was prudent and you are way of the mark.Scotty

My sister was a passenger at the time, and asked if she could be breath tested, because she had a few and needed to drive home. The cop said no because if it was positive, then he would have to do too much paperwork, explaining why it wasnt someone who was driving, who blew positive, and he didnt 'GET' anyone.Stupid IMO, trying to do the right thing and denied....
