Just wondering how the people with Sportmaxx as OEM tyres are finding wear/ grip / noise etc. I replaced my original SP3000A's with a full set of Sportmaxx only recently @ $220/ tyre for 235/45/17's. I could have put the originals on @ $200/ tyre but decided to go for the German higher tech tyre.

Your feedback would be appreciated, I've been told that the Soprtmaxx need higher frequency rotations to extract optimum life?

So far so good. I've done 8200kms on mine and rotated them at 5000kms.

They have excellent grip in the dry and I'll reserve comment for wet weather grip for when it starts raining here.

I rotate my tyres every 5000kms.

If anything they may be slightly noisy on the road.

Fairly happy with mine so far. I've done 4500klms and have around 65% tread left on the rear. I'll be rotating them for the first time this week. They handle quite good but struggle for traction with the rwkw I'm running. I'd like to try something with more grip. Wet weather I wouldn't really know. I drive like and old man cuz my car is deadly in the wet.

Mate, had a topic along these lines a few months back...

19" SP Sportsmaxx 245/35/19ZR... gonnneeee on the rear in about 11,500km's...

Nice tyre, resonable grip in the wet, however very soft... and end up resurfacing the road as they leave heaps of rubber behind...

I've gone over to a set of Kumho's (on the front at the moment) and they are so far so good...
