Its like after 10 mins you lose about 40kw, well at least that's how it feels.
BOOSTINXR6 Member 12 Member For: 17y 3m 20d Posted 14/12/08 01:33 PM Share Posted 14/12/08 01:33 PM I used to have one mate, they are a good replacement for the factory cooler and are quite light. Probably rated to about 300 or so rwkwHi Senna,Im in the process of getting a new cooler atm to replace the stock one as im going to be doing a hole load of mods in the near future and wanted to get some more info about the PWR coolers as my mechanic has recommended one of these with a custom pipe to replace the standard crossover.Ideally im looking for low to mid 300kwts atm when im done and wanting a cooler to support this without any issues. How did you find this cooler in general for the price?I noticed you said you use to have one?Have you changed now? What are you using now?Having a hard time trying to work out which cooler to go.. Want one that is a direct replacement without any cutting grinding or alterations to the car and I have been told that the PWR coolers are the best way to go while retain the stock airbox and the rest so I dont get head aches from the cops. Was thinking of going the Process West Coolers as I here they dont require any cutting or grinding... What are your thoughts. Not wanting to pay more than $1300 for cooler and piping.Any help you cold provide or anyone else for that matter would be a big help. Generally I would recommend something that gets rid of the stock crossover when going into the mid 300s, just to make things easier on everything. It does cost a bit more than the others, but it is a well built piece of gear.I would also recommend one of RAP1Ds performer series coolers if you want to keep the crossover.
