Just get peeved that they couldn't do a better job. The finish of 284 is crap and the Dealers mechanics havn't got a clue so I get pi$$ed. No complaints about the power and driveline. It would be good if 284 had had the build quality and finish of 333 which was a BA 11. I thought the build quality would improve at least somewhat in the BF 11s, or maybe I just got a monday or friday, but for the price it would be nice to have it as it should be. Anyway I'm off to London and Europe in a fortnight for 18 months so it can sit under wraps and maybe it will feel guilt and improve itself, or maybe all the paint will flake off and the boot will fill with water and then I can chase my tail through the ford service and warranty department for another 6 months. :spit:

Bold section in quotes.

I work with a bloke who many moons ago was a worker and union rep at Ford in Broadmeadows. He told me a story about a bloke who worked there at the time who would without fail have the Monday or the Friday of EVERY week off, not including RDO's.

Eventually the company got sick of him doing this and called him and my mate the union rep in to the office to 'discuss' why he constantly has days off work.

The conversation went something like this...

Company: We cannot understand why you keep taking either Friday or Monday off work, is there a reason? We require everyone in this workplace to work their allocated hours each week. Do you have a valid reason?

Worker: Yes mate, I do. The reason why I have a day off every week is because I can live on 4 days pay per week but not 3.

Company:"insert gobsmacked expression" here

So Hypnodoc you can't only be sceptical about the Monday and Friday cars simply because you have blokes like this working 'on the line' on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday too...

I came very close to buying this car yesterday by actually placing a holding deposit subject to clarification on whether it had the upgraded brembo package which it didn't have although fpv initially told me it did. Misinformation from FPV cost me a plane trip, taxi fares, vcheck costs and RACQ inspection fees.

I either want a standard typhoon with leather & brembos or an R-spec. But for someone wanting a standard typhoon with leather this is a great car, beautifully maintained, low kms, cheap as chips, 2 years warranty left etc.

What I found interesting was that the car was built on 19th January 07 according to FPV but was first retailed on 18th December 07 (nearly a year later). Hence 3 year warranty starts from 18th Dec 07. So what did the car do between Jan 07 and Dec 07? Does it just sit at FPVs parking lot???
