2.5% increase in Falcon range price effective Jan 1 2009.

Good news is that it does not apply to FPV range. Some have said you will get brand new F6 on road for 60k. I would love to see that. Be close, but would be bog stock.

I just saw a brand new Senator for 54k + ORC @ ferntree gully.. after neg u could probably walk away with it for $50k maybe??? that's bloody cheaper than a G6E T !

Was that a 6.0l or the 6.2l?

I see they've got a white R8 advertised as the update model, but the boot badge says 307.

Well my deal is done!!!

$54,390 for a FG F6 ute with leather, 19" dark angel wheels, climate control, premium sound and NSW premium plates as well (will tell all the plates once they have been booked).

Thanks John (although I did all the hard work) now is really a great time to buy and by March it will only be better.

Good luck getting a great buy guys and my condolence's to those who bought one earlier!

$51,750 is the cheapest ive seen a MY09 317kw VE Clubby going for.. peanuts !! they look great, sound great and go hard so $17k extra for a phoon is a big ask !!! im in the market in Jan for a new car - I really want an Ego phoon with leather and 19's but if its gonna be $10-15k more than a clubby, il be moving to HSV for sure.

I take that back.. after a bit of a play with another 307 VE R8 Manual on the weekend on my private track in a variety of situations... 0-80, 2nd thru 4th gear roll ons etc I can say my stock BA phoon in every case was the faster car, especially the in-gear runs.. I would have to back off everytime to avoid touching his bumper (my private road is only one lane) .. and he was definitely trying!!

I'll repeat my previous post:

"You get what you pay for!"

You can have a cheaper, over rated, over stated, 2nd rate Dunnydore with a low tech boat anchor V8,

or a high tech, under rated, faster in every way, true performance sedan with the best Aussie motor ever produced.

The choice is easy really.

Of course the Holdens are being reduced in price, they have to bring the price in line with cars closer to their own actual perrformance (XR6T and G6ET). Next we'll see W427 dropped to F6 price! :bopp:
