Larger Oem Cai For F6

was looking on another ford forum and saw this kit using the v8 airbox off the FG as an upgrade for the F6T, seems like a cheap alternative to the aftermarket ones if you want to keep a stock look under the bonnet and not be annoyed by ford if your car is still under factory warranty. The kit is sold with a mod on the mouth of the intake piping to clear the bonnet on the F6 and is sold by ftg autosalvage for $150 + postage. Might order one and see how it goes.

I noticed the much bigger V8 intake at the Sydney motorshow (no snorkel under the headlight for the F6 or V8 either). And the question running thru my head was:

Can this be used with the BA/BF series?

If anyone can shed some light, would appreciate it.

If you're considering it, do it I say.

I bought one and fitted it to my car and was worth an extra 11rwkW.

I don't think it will fit the BA/BF series due to different sizing/geometry.

ok, its as good as done phantmxr8. am ordering one today, hope to have it by the end of next week and then fit a K&N when they make them for the FG series
