Xr Sales

I was reading some of last months car guides yesterday and discovered a artical saying that XR6,XR6T,XR8 sales are up around 300% and for the first time since they have been brought out the are out selling S,S supercharged,Sv8 and SS :D so no wonder they are so far behind with orders on XR's the probabley didn't expect a 300%increase in sales with a XR6T to your spec out to around september october and XR8's out to about a 2 month wait I would say they couldn't be happyer .

I thought that Ford said they would cut back on the standard car production to reduce the wait. Lets hope it works ... still waiting.

For us lucky sods who have got their T's it's great news, but for the unlucky sods waiting it's not. Sorry guys. But even Ken did'nt loose it completely (Booze....glorious Booze!!)

Production numbers of turbos will be increasing in the next few weeks to help clear the backlog of orders.

Are any of us that own BA XR's surprised by this? They are great cars. Everyone I come accross loves them too, even die hard Expensive Daewoo people. I don't think there's anywhere near as much enthusiasm for the VY Commodore.

For those of you still waiting for your T, I too had a long wait (3 months & 3 weeks) so I know what you're going through. Having had my car for 4 months, that wait just seems like a distant memory now. Just remember that you too will be in the same position one day, ie the wait being a distant memory.

lucky enough to ring peter warren ford to see what they had, just that day somebody cancelled there t because they wouldnt pay the july increase, got delivered 4 days later black prem sound leather auto, had it 3 weeks and lovin it.
