Most cops will pick you up with lights over 6000k as they are way too blue.

Stick with under 5000k and you will be happy.

I put in a set of 55Watt 6000K HID'S for my high beam lights (BF series 2)

You need to modify the original Ford globe holder by drilling and the use of a dremel tool. (this then holds the new HID globe and clips into the lens bracket)

I do a lot of Friday night drives up to country Victoria and the result is phenomenal.

Phillips do a 5000k h4 hallogen and are around $100 a set. I just fitted a full set of the 4300k and are very white/blue light but makes the foggy's look sh*t yellow. $68

You guys do realise that the higher the k the less light they produce?

4300k is what most OEM lights are.

5000k is the closest to pure white.

6000 is perfect as its pure white and its got the best visibility.

He's about to become a forum advertiser for a few ford forums. not sure about this forum though

I got 6500 k off him recently after I figured out what globes our car uses. but with his you don't need to cut anything, I havent fitted them yet but another forum memember on here fitted his ones I gave him, in round 30 mins.

I'll hopefully get pictures of his hid's on his car soon

I have a spare H4 HID 5000k set that I bought for the wife's TTG. $250 inc delivery.

I am using the same set in my car and they work fine. No drilling required, I used existing bolt holes and the globes fitted fine in the stock setup.

All I have done is lower the headlights to reduce the glare. It is insane how much more light they produce.
