A mate is NSW highway patrol, he is quick with the defect notices but like the mobile phones and the fog lights, it is all a losing battle... Should give one to EVERY car they see with blinding headlights, doesn't matter if they are HID or regular badly aligned headlights, if it's blinding it deserves a defect, if it's HID and blinding a fine to go with the defect too. That way they don't have to worry about figuring out if HIDs are standard or not.Plus I'm yet to see a mechanic check headlight alignment when giving a pink or blue slip, is this even required???
