I'm getting a new fuel pump for my ute but dont want to go with the surge tank. What's the best bosch pump that will fit in where the factory intank pump is? Car will prob have 330rwkw once tuned

Fortunately for us Coley, the utes dont suffer as much surge as our sedan counterparts so it gives us a little more room to move without the surge tank (By that I dont mean throwing it round corners constantly with quarter tank or less).

A Walbro pump would be a straight intank replacement more so than the Bosch items as im sure they are not direct replacements... Should be good for up to 350rwkw as far as I have read, after that it would be a good investment to look into the surge tank setup.

Im gonna be running a Walbro GSS-340 intank in my ute, aiming for around the 340 - 350 mark... Can be had or around the $160 - $200 mark from most advertisers. Should be fine for your application.

Others - welcome to correct me if im wrong.

Cheers!

GSS-340 or GSS-341 are the most popular intank replacements.

Yeah you just seem to hear a few bad reports about the walbro pump. I'm goin to get my mechanic to do it when he does the service. Is the bosch in tank pump really much more difficult to install?
