I caused it by tightening the clamp to tight. Over time it got bigger and louder. didnt really notice any loss of boost until I got it fixed then I realised I actually lost about 30 per cent of its power. I would check all the connections first. Took the two turbo hoses off over top of the exhaust manifold. Tightened up as many exhaust and turbo bolts as I could reach (some of them needed it). And re installed all hosing giving them all a bit more tension than they had before. Fixed the prob. Car is heaps more responsive and quieter. Only can hear turbo squeal now...
