Already attempted a refund... apparently out of warranty... I said I've had them for less than 60 days, how long is the warranty on these things? And I also said, since its out of warranty, and not any fault of mine they are defective, since led's seem to be my only option, can you send me some, or if I get them, only pay for postage, as this option I wouldn't even by looking at if the item wasn't rooted.

My email of all a sudden got... no response.

@BFHOON... I don't see why LED ones would affect your airbag... however I do know the blinkers can affect the cars electrics, apparently they can blink too fast and you need to add something into the lines to moderate the blinking, and they did mention a CAN for the blinkers, so maybe the blinks run via the CAN bus some how and could easily affect the air bags and other electrics.. I'm only replacing the parkers with LED's, so shouldn't have any affect on the CAN network of the car etc I hope. If you happen to have any more info on it, I'd like to see it so I know whether Im about to risk my life with these lol

@MRDOSE - good to know, I think if it doesn't stick, I won't even start an attempt lol, sucks though it didn't work for ya, so what tail lights you got now?

yes mate I had the same problem and I know of another 2 cars with the same problem. I found the problem is the wattage of that bulb is too high. replace it with a lower wattage one.

gravelrash - thanks mate, I didn't think I was the only one since they all sit so close to the bulb, the led should do the trick then.

MRDOSE - atleast the original ones you go now look good lol, so that outta put you in a good mood (besides the fact it took breaking some, f-ing some up - to finally decide to just buy some haha)

Because it will de-activate based on closed brake light circuit, and the LEDs don't offer enough resistance so the cruise control thinks the brake is constantly applied....or something like that. :spoton:

Yep Tab is right.

I think I was the SOB who discovered LED's do not work in these cars. You can put a 5ohm resistor inline with the circuit, that will solve the problem, but it is not really worth the hassle.

LED's in the tail/brake lights will stop Cruise control and traction control. In the indicators will stop them flashing.

It is all down to the lack of load the systems sees with LEDs.

As for the ricer lights, you can get defected for them as they are cheapass and not ADR approved. I would swap them back to stock as you are just asking for trouble.
