So maybe 30 minutes for a couple of days max.The melt marks have occured where the parkers are.The issue is F - all clearance between the bulb and the plastic red cover for the parkers... on both sides, same spot.I was driving behind a GT in my local area also, and his aren't chrome but the same altezza style, melt marks also!I am wondering whether this will get worse, or if anyone else has them and the burn gets to a stage and stops getting worse?I'm about to go get some LED tail lights, but just want to know anyone else noticed this issue? SO far, I've seen two cars with these tail lights, and two cars with them melted, both sides.Steve

If you still have the details from the bloke that you bought them from see if you can get them replaced, or even get your money back and as you said put them towards some BF ones? Im sure you wouldnt have any trouble getting a refund, they sold you a defective product.Good luck with it anyway!
