Tree Monkey Member 685 Member For: 17y 5m 21d Gender: Male Location: brisvagas / Manly Posted 10/01/09 11:26 AM Share Posted 10/01/09 11:26 AM If it is tuned right they shouldent have to fatten the fuel up now to compensate for cooler night air..... that's what your air temp sensor is for as well as the o2 sensor, all maps should be calibrated for air temp, timing and boost pressure regardless what temp the tune is done at. I do still think that a safe tune is better than an on the edge one but will have to get the wog to have a look at your tune next time he is up he will clean it up for you. typhoon_freak Cryptic Clothing Company Donating Members 4,556 Member For: 16y 10m 20d Gender: Male Location: Brisvages, Capalaba Posted 26/05/09 10:03 AM Author Share Posted 26/05/09 10:03 AM hey, got more work done and also changed tuners, I now use hi-torque and find them awsome! my mods now include:ford flash tuner 2 , 60 lb injectors, 044 bosch fuel pump,processwest surgetank,full s/s exforce exhaust with split 3.5in dump to quadtips,Rapid v3.5 intercooler kit, 4inch intake,plazmaman plenum,0.7 front housing,38mm wastegate flapper,ngk platniums,77deg thermo,20% under drive belt,pwr overflow tank and 12lb actuator..it pulled 390.5rwkw at 18psi, it still has way more in it the tuner said. but the exhuast is now restricting it, was advized to upgrade to a 4inch, so my future plans are now to get full custom 4inch exhuast out to 4inch each side to replace the quad system I have and to highmount the turbo aswell.
