The car will be run hard on a dyno and will be rev to almost the redline, so the engine needs to up to temp to protect the engine, dont run it for too long though as you will get heat soak and your power levels will drop.

It doesn't matter, as some stranger is going to rev the tits off your pride and joy.

You should warm it up to normal temp, but make sure you get them to turn the air blower on as soon as they start strapping it down. This prevent heat soke and give you an ptimum figure.

Hey thanks guys will definatley post what it made,I just thought I would try the dyno as the comp cost $40 so I thought it would be a cheap way of finding out what its got before I do anything to it.

Comp Dyno figure will be for fun factor only. Once you begin modding, then the dyno becomes useful as you can perform before and after on the same dyno for comparative purposes. Also dyno comps have a bizzare way of throwing up strange figures on previously dynoed cars from other workshops...so don't hang your hat off the comp figure.

Hey thanks guys ,I am just going into this dyno comp just to get a baseline figure just cause I live a couple of hundred kays from the nearest dyno and its cheap to enter and its coming to me so I thought why not ,but when I do go to mod it then I will just go to the same place for tuning on the same dyno .
