these are the mods to my car nizpro vlave springs, injectors, 3.5 inch custom exhuast system cat guttered, intank fuel pump, plazmaman plenium and rapids cooler, tranny rebuilt.

Nizpro tried very hard to get more power through the car, but they have blamed my exhuast system as its bottling it up. the car is at 14.5 psi from memory. they also said the inlet temps are to high I think they said 39deg so has any1 got a 3.5 inch system for sale (xforce).

any suggestions on such a low power would be considered....

And please lets nor bag the tuner. im curious as some1 else has had a similuir problem

Get a decent exhaust for starters... And a cat... $1500 will get you a 4 inch dump, 3.5 cat and exhaust on ebay XFORCE full stainless..

Have you upgraded the actuator? Doesn't say it in your mods? This needs to be done. Go for 12psi... Will hold boost well up to 18-20psi... If you have the stock one, it wont hold boost.

You can also port your wastegate and fit a larger flapper valve...

Have you plugs been regapped and how old are they? What about your fuel filter... This can play a major part in low power.

Check all these and you should be around 330-350 definitely with your setup...

If time permitted, you could drop the exhaust and dyno it, that way you know if its the exhaust or not.

From what you told me, the 3inch mufflers are holding it back... put straight through 3.5inchers in there to match the whole system.

But, in saying that, there's plenty of cars with 3.5inch dump & cat, stock exhaust minus centre muffs pulling over 310 with my stock plenum IC kits.

I'd still be looking at your mufflers though, if that's what the tuner is saying then start there.

Im with RAP1D - Id listen to what the tuner says...

Nizpro are obviously very very experienced, if not pioneers of tuning the XR6T so im sure they would have a good idea of what is holding it back and would be very well equipped to go through the elimination process to find out what it is...

Saying that - It is a low number so always good to ask!

Remember a gutted cat can cost $10k fine... Sometimes it is not the best option to gut it...

Meh who hasn't got a measly $10k laying around to pay a fine?? Haha

I know plenty of people who have done it here in WA & never been tested. Could be different over east though :spoton:

1st post says the cat is already hi-flow.. must be a pretty horrible exhaust if it cant flow more that 300rwkw, people are pushing 350rwkw through ebay twin 2.5" cat backs.
