hi all,

I really need everyone's opinion on whether to install a mesh grill on my bf xr6 t.

I've been told it can inhibit the intercooler, which makes sense, but what effect will this really have??

has anybody done this?

cheers.

G'day.

I'm a newbie on here & just reading through some of the topics. I notice your question is a bit old now & you have probably already had it answered. But for the record.

I've had a mesh grill on my mine for over 18 months now with no probs at all. It's been dyno'd since & hasn't lost any power at all. Temp hasn't been affected.

Hope this is of some help.

Cheers.

Mal.

mesh wont do anything to the airflow to the cooler.. who ever told you that is a bonehead.. it's like people putting there numberplates to the side because they think they the cooler gets no airflow and they loose 100kw

hahah yeah that's always funny to see, my fav is the dudes with full stock motors on a wrx or 200sx that put on an intercooler that is bigger than their whole front end to try gain 100kw of power all to find the car now take 3months before it starts to build boost fxxking classic!!! :)
