blue_xr6 Member 40 Member For: 16y 1m 28d Posted 08/10/08 12:27 PM Author Share Posted 08/10/08 12:27 PM Thanks for your advices. Since it's not good to play around with the airbag system. I'm better to bring my car to the garage to fix it. Do you think the guys at Ultra Tune would be able to fix it or I have to bring it to a electrical specialist garage (which one is cheaper?). I don't want to bring my car to a Ford Dealer as they're so expensive (last time they charged my $2,600 for a service with a few minor problems). Can anyone tell me roughly how much does it cost to fix the faulty airbag code 23 so I can prepare money before my next service is due. Thanks

Air bags aint that ezy to set off unless you start probing with test lights and the like. Just check the plugs it is the most common fult.

blue_xr6 Member 40 Member For: 16y 1m 28d Posted 10/10/08 01:59 AM Author Share Posted 10/10/08 01:59 AM Thanks guys! I followed Tree Monkey, which is checked the plugs under the passenger seat and pushed it in a bit. My warning light has gone off and I suppose my airbag work normally again (is it correct that if no airbag warning light is on while driving means it's working fine?).Thanks again for saving me lot of hassles and money to bring my car to the garage to fix it. Really good advices I found in this forum.

Really good advices I found in this forum.Wow, this thread just saved me a trip to Ford! I had exactly the same issue, same flashing sequence and all. Looked under my passenger seat and wow, someone had stuck a magazine under it and slightly loosened the cable. Pressed down on it slightly and restarted the car, and viola, no warning light. Must admit I was very nervous around thinking of dealing with airbags as I've heard the horror stories... Big thanks guys!!!
