Traction Control

Excuse my total ignorance with these Fords but should the car be driven normally with the traction control light showing ON or OFF. 05 BA Mk2. Thanks guys.

When the light is ON it measn the system has been de-activated, when the light is OFF the system is active. If you see the light blinking, that means the system is working and trying to stop wheelspin. :yikes:

Thanks Mate...so therefore, if you wanted to get from Marsden Park to Parramatta in 10 minutes, you would deactivate it ! LOL (LIGHT is ON ???)

ah gee I been driving around with the light off this whole time, thaught that if the light was off the tc was off :blush: I found that in the wet if I put some throttle down, it would shutter insted of just spinning... now I kind of understand why... :bowdown:

Is this only for the XR6 turbos or also for the BF MKII Typhoons?

I turn on and off the tc button on my typhoon and nothing lights up. would I have a blown globe?

more then likly.. cuz I always turn mine off and the light does pop up...

you do hold the button down uintil the light comes on... its not really a push once thing

I just give mine the quickest little push and the light comes on, dont need to hold down sh*t all

Yeah you have to hold the button down in the BF MkII, it's a safety thing so you don't accidently turn it off lol.
