Depending on the qualiy of cooler that you buy it may cause your car to overboost and this could lead to bad things happening to your car. The car will run perfectly fine without it and not over boost. But if you want utilise the new cooler to its full potential you should get a retune - otherwise it is only there for bling purposes...
