Is removing the centre muffler and replacing it with straight through pipes what most people are doing? I've read that the Cat can be very restricting, what sort of gains can be had when getting a custom tune from replacing parts of or whatever is recommended of the exhaust?

centre muffler removal is the cheap way of getting a louder, beefier note without getting an exhaust, alot of people including myself have done it! and yeh the cat is very restrictive so upgrading to a hi-flow cat and removing the centre muffler frees up the exhaust heaps!

This was the first thing I ever did (and ever have done until about 2 months from now) and for how simple it is and the price probably the best mod
