when you press the tc button the light on the dash goes on, that's tc off.

when you press and hold the button untill the light stops flashing that's dsc off and tc off. this is on a bf.

I have been led to belive that the dsc can not be fully turned off and the dsc off function only allows a bit more oversteer before correction.

as far as the edit goes im looking into getting the dsc turned off.

When I press the tc button I get no light displayed on my dash, but have tested it out and it turns either traction control or dsc off not sure which one but it definately allows for more fun. If I hold the button in I get no flashing just the light display on the dash but that turns everything off.

Your dealer will be the best bet buddy...probably not what you want to here though.

Other option is to check all your fuses, not sure if the DSC runs on a seperate circuit or anything but I guess it's worth a look

Recently my DSC ight came on and stayed on all the time. Went into Ford and they fixed it. Must have been real easy to do cause they didnt fix anything else.

Those who are considering turning it off permanently. Would you also turn your ABS off?

DSC also called ESP (electronic stability program)

Well turned out the DSC turning its self off was just something to do with the ABS calibration and the steering wheel position, hasnt come back on since ford re-aligned the steering.....
