I was only going to replace the front rotors but not the callipers (I dont want the abs to be affected). Should I get slotted rotors or cross drilled rotors, and where in Sydney is the best place to get this job done?I have a BF II Edited 01/10/08 10:25 AM by viking

Guest Guests Posted 01/10/08 01:38 PM Share Posted 01/10/08 01:38 PM DBA 4000's are the best upgrade for factory brakes mate Just make sure you get decent pads to suit or they'll be a waste. Ferodo DS2500's are a good choice...

I have had ny x-drilled & slotted DBA 4000's on for over 18 months now, and not a single crack. You just need to mate them with suitable pads. Guest Guests Posted 02/10/08 12:56 AM Share Posted 02/10/08 12:56 AM They are renowned for cracking so I wouldn't be so sure. Not every set is going to have trouble, but lots have in the past. It's the same as running a generic tune on a stock T. Some take to it quite well, run within acceptable parameters, produce good power whilst others spit the dummy & don't want to have a bar of it!
