Hi guys,

My BA is making just over 300 RWKW and I think it's time to address the exhaust.....

At the moment it's stock dump to special high flow cat to stock 2 1/4" system

I want to keep costs down and I don't want it loud my any means, I'd prefer it quiter than louder.

I was thinking of replacing the twin 2 1/4" after the cat with the twin Xforce 2 1/2" ?? Would that give me much benefit? What would it do to the sound of the exhaust?

Is my stock dump ok or is there a benefit to changing this too.....

I'm not after huge power....Max 320 at the wheels. I would prefer a bit of improvement down low if anything......

Thanks for the suggestions.....

Change you're dump out for a 3.5" unit & leave the cat back stock. It flows well enough for 35orwkw as proven in many other cars so why waste money??

Dump wont alter the sound too much either, just make it a little deeper note if anything. It will improve spool time & down low response however :spoton:

It's not only the size, it's the shape as well. Check out the stock cast POS & you'll understand!

Not sure on prices mate as I haven't been in the market for one in ages, but you'll be able to make it fit up to your 'empty' factory cat :fireworks: Any good exhaust joint will be able to either weld it in place or make up a couple of flanges that'll do the trick.

I have run a dual 2 1/2 inch exhaust, not too expensive off the shelf, high flow 3.5" cat, standard dump and made an easy 314 atw's in 12psi. Dany exhuasts did mine and was very happy, not too loud either

Alex.
