I wish they would make a commercial where theres the old falcon beast of a car prefferibly XY, going extremely fast and then smashes into a wall in slow-mo breaks through the wall and a new fpv comes out on the otherside. introduce the new range with a freaking bang! man I wish I was in advertising just so I could do this. that commercial would make me cream my pants lol :buttrock:

edit: thought of another, maybe if there was 2 cars opposite sides of each other, 1 a old series typhoon, and the other an old series gt, both smash through walls turn into new range and park next 2 each other while the background fades to black and the FPV badge/symbol comes out

I got a couple others they come outa nowhere sometimes haha. personally I think the new commercials that ford has are kind of meh... it hasnt got the certain kick to it that would make people say whoa and leave FORD stuck in theyre head all day long thinking about the commercial giving them a potential buyer and more of us kick-ass guys on the road :D anyways what you guys think about my idea? or has it already been done :verysad:

Does any one remember recently the Macca's add that had the kid getting his license, he touches the kurb while parking but gets it any way, he then goes to macca's drive through with car full of mate to celebrate his license.

There was a 2GB up roar over that add, so I can't see people being happy with add that encourage fast driving.

Your idea sounds awesome... but cos of all the stupid rules about speed and power not being allowed, I think the closest they could make is the Expensive Daewoo ute ad... where the older ute morphs into newer and newer models till you get to the current model.

Similar concept but without the power which is required to "sell" these awesome cars.

I thought you were allowed to touch the kerb, just not mount it?? I dont see the problem with the add, apart from the gayness.. Who goes through Macca's after gettin ya P's?? I went to Chapel st in a 89 Camry wagon with the boys LOL..

Saw a new Justcars ad last night. Had a guy driving slo-mo in his sexy blue R34 GTR along a narrow shopping strip and all the girls/guys were gawking at his car mouthing a hip hop drum beat. It was piss funny to watch, great car, and good ad in terms of it will really appeal to the 'look at me' Y-gen cashed up tossers out there. No offense to any of you here. :w00t2: Makes me want to go out and buy one and join them, pity about the insurance cost.

that didnt last long, but I recall it all started from that one..

Car ads aren't about all this nonsense. Nothing makes me want to buy a car more than a kid looking out a window, at a giant set of fingers walking through fabric-lined hills and cooky clouds. That's what motoring is about!
