They mean you can have the colour screen and look of the dual zone but no dual zone air con/heating.

Not really unless you find a clued up sparky...

ring darren at ftg auto salvage in melbourne he can give you a list of parts to do the conversion I would estemate about $500 to $600 because you allready have the icc you will need pasenger mirrior with tempsensore new heater box wiering and a few other bits and pices they can tell you all the bits its quite a job the mannual climate controle ones are on ebay all the time they look like a standard one but coulor screen and six stacker hope this helps a bit the dual zone should look like this

I'm picking it up over the weekend.

Danny's writeup SEEMS pretty straight forward, shame those pics have gone bung :(

Not as many additional parts as I thought...

If I could get it into my car for less than a grand I'll be happy :)

I don't get how a Dual climate control unit is going to be operated as a manual? It only has one turny nob which is for the volume.
