and the busta has arived home.. from work (got back to sydney on the back of the tow truck about 6 ish)

just wanna say sorry to all the guys for fuking up, I know it probably put a dampener on the whole day (yes I do feel like a d!ck head) but up until that point I had a great day

anyway as those of you who werent at the bathurst cruise would not know I stacked my car pretty hard today..

got to bathurst had a few good laps around the track and then came down the main straight pretty relaxed... got up to turn one (hells corner) and decided mid way thru the corner to smoke it up I was in second gear at or about 50ish kph around the bend and then...

I straightened up a little as I was comming out of the corner and then droped the clutch reved it and dumped it... the T stepped out and then just kept going around and then all I remember is seeing a wall and hitting the brakes hard, by this time I was sideways up the track and the car kept comming around untill it hit the kerb just after the pit lane.

fortunatly I managed to miss both walls by a matter of centimeters, but hitting the gutter sideways has pretty much demolished everything suspension wise under the car.

Both drivers side wheels are stuffed. The rear drivers side wheel is bent in a fair bit. the passenger side rear wheel is bent aswell but only a very tiny bit (no where near as much as the drivers side)

the front steering is out by about 30 degrees, the front drivers tire has deflated due to the wheel buckling which also managed to push itself up into the front gaurd and grab the lip and pull it out.

so it was a massive f*ck up, but as everybody says after a prang me and the missus are both fine, as catastrophic as the incident sounds by the time we actually hit the kerb I dont think we were going really fast we stopped with the front wheels pretty much on the kerb still but it was more then enough to cause a sh*t load of damage that I am not really going to get the full extent of untill it is up on the hoist.. hopefully tommorow afternoon

I would just like to thank phill for bringing the missus back to sydney, I know she was probably a bit stroppy after the acko and I am very very gratefull !!

anyway here is my tip next time you want to do something stupid... do it close to home! a $700 tow truck bill is not nice  though I am sure this is soon to be the very least of my problems!

I would post some pictures of the car, but really there is not alot to look at, the angle of the rear wheel is bad, but doesnt translate into a photo very well.. the front wheel just looks gutter rashed other then that its all underneath the car...

once again sorry guys, and thanks phil!

Ok Turboboy first of all the black cars arent that slow, and I think silhoutte sounds better than breeze :riia:

and next time itd be good not being the onyl ute there.

But it was a great day, perfect weather, no unwanted company  , close packed group and some very very nice T's. Cant wait for the next one, dont think ill be able to make snowys though but we'll see.

I now see y I need new brakes (conrod with warped rotors and fade) so that's been added to the shopping list along with more power!

Thanks to Robbo and anyone who took the lead and radioed upcoming hazards, that saved me a couple of new tyres and a sump.

See u all next time

Butto

P.S. Could we got a couple more utes for the next one, I dont like being the only one with a huge a*se jumping all over the road
