I reckon its a stupid idea, FG's have just entered the market.IMO its just another sticker package. personally, I dont like the rims. hope ford does something unique at least to lure buyers.

hope I dont sound like a cock, cause that's my honest opinion !

Ford may not be able to, but does that apply to FPV, which is essentially an aftermarket tuning house, with Ford warrantly approval?

Applies to them too.

What, like the Monaro that couldn't sell highly enough to justify a new model. A Falcon coupe would be a disaster, as much as we all want to see one it will never sell in high enough numbers to justify the expense required to make them. The Monaro proved that, beyond the first year when the novelty wares off no one buys them anymore. Ford learned that lesson the hard way when the XA-XC coupes sold like hot cakes for a year or 2 then totally bombed by the time the XC came around. Enter the XC Cobra to get rid of the last 400 shells that no one wanted.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the GT come out in 1967 so wouldn't that make it a 41st aniversery GT

when are you guys going to realise that ford only release a truely great car every few decades... anything in between is nothing to write home about

That's pretty spot on. We had the HOs first release in 69 culminating with the Phase 3 in 71. Then we had to wait 30 years 'till 99 to get the T-Series which also evolved through three series to culminate with the T3, the only true modern day muscle car (from Ford at least). So look ahead to 2029 and we'll see what "muscle" Ford can deliver then.

Not surprised, have they forgotten what GT falcons were, f*#"k me whats wrong with these people. For christs sake fpv WAKE UP!!!

Actually, GT Falcons were just Fairmonts with stripes and stickers. Not much has changed at Ford in the past 40 years.

I bet whatever they bring out will be another hyped up boring, plain GT. It will only have a sticker that will distinguish it from other GT's- Ford hasnt had ball's to do anything special for years.

My two cents......

Bigger, more powerful motors and better suspension doesn't count then?
