S4's are nothing special, they aren't really quick and they don't handle that well either. The RS4 is about one million times better. A second hand M3 is a much better option, the straight 6 rasp is to die for.

looks nice, although I think you will find the performance lacklustre.. I think they are a mid 14 sec car? sound awesome though.. guy at work has an 03, and it is a beautiful car.

Got the wife motivated today as we did not have kids this weekend. I have been seriously looking at the RS4, but was worried about the seats, as this is a big complaint in the reviews I have read.

Went to the local Audi dealership where they did not have any RD4's in stock. Apparenlty they are now discontinued and will not have a new model for a couple of years.

I did however get to sit in a new S3 that has the same seats as a RS4. They are a wrap around bucket and are painful to get into and out of. I am a big guy (6'5", 130kg) and the race seats would be annoying to live with on a daily basis. So I went to my client the BMW dealership, and looked at the M3's. I tested a E46 M3 with 12k km and the SMG gearbox. It was a nice car, but it does not offer me enough to change from the F6. So now the budget has extended to $130k drive away, but still no closer to finding the right car.

ZAP I'd hunt for a 34 V-SPEC, throw 20k at and you would be happy as a pig in sh*t. And it would keep the minister for finance happy

2 door cars are difficult for big people to get out of when in tight car parks. I would have taken a R34GTR over a M3 anyday as it is a dream car.

I am considering looking for a R33 4 door GTR again, as they should be better priced. The only problem is it is a rare car and difficult to find.

There is no desperation for me to change cars, more that I want to change. I cannot find any info on this hipo Subaru that aiboart mentioned.

A EVO 10 is now starting to look good

I don't know, IMO the 33 4 doors look like crap but each to there own. Evo X would be the go but I dare say they wouldn't be any easier to get in and out of, sometimes two big doors are better then 4.

:beerchug:

You need a can opener to get in and out of those lancer thingos when you're voluptuous!

Are you set on a sedan seeing as you’ve already got a SUV in the family Zapper? Or is it just whatever screams "buy me"?
