You been reading TopGear?

The review they did on that was an absolute pisser. “No wonder Madonna wrote a song about it” (or something like that)

With my work, I spend a lot of time in underground carparks. Getting out of a 2 door car is more difficult as the door needs more room to open wide enough to get out. I also need to have 2 baby seats and belting them in is a PIA.

As I am a big unit and also have a rooted back, I find I need a decent opening. 2doors also geberally sit lower as welll, so it will not work for my usage. This was a prime reason for not considering the R35GTR as a daily driver.

I admit I have looked at a SUV type vehicle, but as we already have a TTG it seems pointless to have another. I only do about 12,000km a year, as I use the TTG on weekends with the family.

Tab, I am looking for the car that screams buy me. I have always wanted a 4 door GTR, so I might just keep the F6 until I can find one and then get rid of the F6.

My 2 main requirements for a car is FAST and STEALTH. All go, no show.

Got the wife motivated today as we did not have kids this weekend. I have been seriously looking at the RS4, but was worried about the seats, as this is a big complaint in the reviews I have read.

Went to the local Audi dealership where they did not have any RD4's in stock. Apparenlty they are now discontinued and will not have a new model for a couple of years.

I did however get to sit in a new S3 that has the same seats as a RS4. They are a wrap around bucket and are painful to get into and out of. I am a big guy (6'5", 130kg) and the race seats would be annoying to live with on a daily basis. So I went to my client the BMW dealership, and looked at the M3's. I tested a E46 M3 with 12k km and the SMG gearbox. It was a nice car, but it does not offer me enough to change from the F6. So now the budget has extended to $130k drive away, but still no closer to finding the right car.

Id really hate to be in the position you are in.... LOL!

I'm with Brian... Up the budget & get into an AMG :spoton:

My Dad's mate is trading an 05/06 E55 on a Masarati in the near future for a ridiculous trade price so he might be keen to offload it for a similar price in a private sale? He's in Vic. Awesome car for such a big cruiser

will he take my Phoon + $10k for it??? ROFL..

I'd fooken crawl to Vic on my scrote to make that deal happen, E55 is top 10 on my must have one day list!!!!!

BMW will be releasing a four version of the M3 later this year, sounds like something that could appeal to you (four doors, family friendly, V8, understated styling with plenty of go, etc, etc)? It comes pretty close to your new budget too, although you may need to revise it upwards a little more.
