No AFM in our falcons, so it doesnt change emissions, So basically its legal.

Try saying that to the cop though...

You dont pass the attitude test. they will sticker you anyway.

Depends on the sate, depends on the cop, depends on what the planets are doing.

If they don't get you for the emissions side of it they will get you for the noise.

Its all about attitude.

If you drive in a way to attract attention, you'll get it, both good and bad.

Everyone loves the good attention, but come crying on here when they get the bad attention.

As for the emissions thing its a very long shot but if a seal went on the turbo you could get oil mixed with the compressed air and then it would be an issue but that doesnt happen all that often.

Yep vented air isn't really an emissions issue. Blocking or removing the bov on a car running a MAF sensor is the big emissions no no. Luckily our cars run a MAP sensor but again, good luck explaining it to a cop.

Yeah technically ours shouldn't be illegal but if in doubt revert back to rule number one when modifying a car.. Everything's illegal if it's been a slow day.

there is usually a small amount of 'blow by' oil in the intercooler piping which gets fed back from the rocker cover, some of this oil/vapour gets blown out of the blow off valve....

So blocking the BOV is illegal?

I thought because it wasnt venting back into the atmo it should be like the stock plumb back just running through the CAI instead of the cooler?

it needs to vent back into the intake. if the same goes back in then came out, then no probs with plod. if you want a venting bov, then mount it low upside down, or stealth black.
