I currently have a modified 92 Toyota Aristo the car is great fun and very quick while still being luxurious with all the features it has but its getting old now and I have spent so much money just fixing things that I'm really getting over it. If it wasn't for this it would probably be my ultimate car :(.SO....I have been thinking about moving on and getting a typhoon seeing as they look fantastic, have very big potential with minimal mods and are fairly new so no more reliability problems hopefully! If I do get one I think I would go with a Nizpro stage 2 or similar, that seems to be the go from what I have read and not go to wild on it.Now a few Q'sFrom the guys that have got out of the Jap imports into one of these, how does it compare? From what I have read the build quality is not that great but I guess they would be more refined and a nicer drive. Also how are they for reliability? Is there a certain model I should look out for? Is the BF much better then the BA and has less problems? As if there is not much of a difference I would rather spend a little less cash and get the BA but try and find one with the optional Brembos. I guess that most of them problems that they had would have all got fixed through re-calls or something like the early clutch problem?Last of all my ultimate typhoon would have brembos and leather and 19's are there any other cool options I should look for when buying one?Sorry about all the questions, I did do a search that answered most of the questions I had before but I just want these ones here cleared up.CheersMiggy. I got a bf typhoon and I seriously love it.. I just reallyed wanted a 4 door car. I have never driven a ba, but I tend to like the kit beta on a bf "my two cents" its a personal option.. you should just test drive a few and see how you go.. what type of import are you comparing to? The build quality of the F6 interior wise looks good and shouldn't date to badly due to the colour choice and setup..I would go for a BF (being bias ) depending on which body styling you like, I've driven both and after my first test drive in one I found nothing came close to the torque produced on boost and fell in love with them. The Brembo's come standard on all BF Mk II I believe but don't quote me on that and were options on BF. Iv'e driven a few imports including GTR's, S15 before buying the F6 and all were great but the torque out of the box, space, comfort and being locally built/delivered are great entices One question you may face and everyone has there own opinion will be whether Manual or Auto in the BF? good luck dude
