I have the exact same problem. mine was dirt in the hand brake drum I can really hear mine when I stop start through traffic against the barrier wall on the freeway. I have heard quite a few falcons doing this

its probably the hand brake shoe retainer clip rubbing inside the brake drum.

some lube on the contact points will fix it

ive also got this problem, such a pain in the ass. I replaced my rear pads and that made it worse, and I also had the handbrake adjusted with no result. Ill give Mike Xr6T suggestion a whirl next.
