It's still in pieces in it's case. I cracked the sh*ts, sold my rebuilt Marshall Jcm2000 DSL100 with Marshall 1960A cab and haven't played since. Now I think I'll settle for a $400 Cort acoustic. Lol - I've got a "JB-HiFi" Marshall somewhere and also a cable that lets me plug into the computer My son has just started experimenting with the acoustic so I owe it to him to make sure everything is available.Hmm, talk of guitars and amps makes me want to sort out my new studio room and get all my gear plugged in and useable...now all I need is the energy!I haven't had an amp in years! Been using one of these for practising and recording and I've been thoroughly impressed with the quality of sounds I can get from it.

I've got a nice S470DX that hardly sees the light of day, was going to put it on ebay and get something more rhythm orientated... I'm more of a keys guy myself but I want something I can just go to town on with power chords and with my lack of skills the FR type tremmy won't let me do that LMK if interested If not, any ideas for what to get instead? Think stuff like screaming jets, fooeys, living end, LZ, etc

Mine looks the same as yours but doesn't have the middle pickup and is broken in half obviously. I had a Samick Les Paul years ago and that was great. I honestly don't know a hell of a lot about which guitar to play, I just played them.

I also play some chords up the neck to see if they are still in tune an octave higher. I like fairly low action myself but if you're going to be thrashing it then you may want it a bit higher. If all this is good, the neck is straight and it's not cracked in the body then that's usually good enough for me. Obviously you want to hear how it sounds and have a bit of a play but that's about it for me. Head down to your local music centre and have a go on a few guitars. You'll find one you like.
