MOTOR magazine always gives us good numbers to crunch with respect to 0-100, 1/4 mile and brake tests so I think I can forgive the fact that such data was excluded. Excuse me, Wheels and Motor provide us good numbers. Like hell they do! Do a search on this site and you'll find that those two scraps of paper aren't even close with the times they publish.Your all a bunch of FU_KING whingers! We are all car enthusiasts - isn't it enough that we watch the show to see some interesting/different/fast/funny cars get thrashed around? Obviously not for some people. Clearly it isn’t as good as UKTG – No sh1t sherlock - they have had how many years to refine their product? Watch some of the early eps of that and it was rubbish also!!You’re all saying it should be canned? Then we have no car shows to watch… UKTG is between seasons... Let’s all watch Mr Sale of the Century road testing a Magna or those fu_king retards on South Park instead – what a great idea. While this show is not perfect I think they are on their way to satisfying our need to see - CARS! Give them a chance! That is the common denominator for us watching the show – the cars. GT40 rocked, F6 will clearly flog an R8 and lots of sideways action from both, destroying 3 brand new cars in a giant gold mine is vintage UKTG, smart hearse was a little piss take segment – also a UKTG favorite. So how about I get you all a tissue to soak up those tears and neatly press your pink dresses – I think there is a new ep of McLeod’s Daughters coming on soon, you will all be keen to see that… Exactly, I'm a car enthusiest, that's why I expect better! The presenters are celarly not enthusuests, and their knowledge of production cars and the various models is almost non existant. One of the best things with the UK boys is (weather this be down to good reaserch or not) they know a hell of alot about the various cars, moels and past models etc. So far, in Top Gear OZ, aside from the F6vHSV test, they're matching of cars in tests is all wrong. Also, in the UK show, if they destroy a car, or test it, there is usualy a point to it. For the Ford/olden review, all they did was smoke em up a bit, with absoloutly no conclusions at all.I will keep watching, because there is stuff else on, but I won't watch it religiously like the UK show.As I said earlier, I can't see the point of the show. They would have been better off hosting a few Aussie version of the original show every now and again where the hosts come here and do some local car testing, road driving and Aussie challenges. Anything's possible.America would need their own version because they wouldn't understand the UK humour, termonoligies or that a UK even exists! I wanted a winner we all know the F6 won. it had way more time on the screen drifting it and having fun. one of my work mates was boasting that a HSV dusted the F6 off the line I told him id gave him a copy of the recording so he could see the head start the F6 had to give the R8. other then that I had a good laugh and it looks to be getting better. It dropped around 40% over the 1st episode, was the lowest rating show in its timeslot, and ranked a lowly 26th for the whole day.I hoped the show could succeed, but they'll really need to lift their game a loooonnnggg way. With Australia's obsession with modifying cars, why not cover some build-ups, with the results compared to standard cars? The show has zero over the UK one IMHO. I wouldn't bother to watch it again. 3 tossers trying to be car experts

These guys just didn't want to offend either side. But the biggest disappointment was that they didn't get stig to drive both around the track, or maybe they did but didn't dare showing it. I liked the gold mine challenge though, not up to the UK standards but it was fun and promising. But what the I <3 Bananas is the deal with redlining a car on the spot WHILE COLD...AGAIN??? We all want to hear it, but I <3 Bananas have some respect for the machine.

Considering that they had to follow the UK format, I think they are doing a good job. I think they can follow parts of the UK format but really have to introduce something new. Modified cars,dyno/qtr mile comparisons, whatever.
