Yeah... I have the Mal Woods and think it's awesome.

Are you saying the only reason you didn't get the Mal Woods is cause of $$$??? Not 'problems'...

Essentially I said lets go with the Malwood but that I wasnt impressed on having to spend so much extra on springs and clutch as it hadnt been factored in the initial outlay, based on that feedback they made the decision to put in an Exedy instead (which I can understand and appreciated that they had taken the feedback on board).

Exedy seems to be ok, they often get confused with Xtreme - which are utter crap.

I tend to think its the other way around.

my xtreme for $860 has copped DAILY clutch stabs to bring on boost, 3rd gear stabs to initiate 70kmph slides pasts wogs in Clubsports, not to mention its lasted being driven like this for nearly 3 years im MORE than happy with it.

hey it doesnt drive like a opt-3 but if u ask me the opt 3 feels sh*t, it doesnt feel like a "sporty" clutch at all like it belongs in a hyundai accent.

not knocking the opt-3 but I dont think its 100% aimed at the sporty driver... more so for old farts with 350kw typhoons who have prosthetic legs and a busted hip joint

been driving on the mal wood option 3 (still running in) for a few days and I love the feel it has... has a similar feel to Nismo units in GTR's I have driven in the past.

two thumbs up
