One hard run from 4th - 5th and she was all over in one go!Really depends on driving style. If you drive it with a bit of knowledge on what kills them, I reckon you could get away with 260 for a fair while.

The pedal feel is stock, there is no shudder what so ever. I Definately recommend this clutch

Then I upgraded a few things and had a tune...2 days later... And 1 run down the 1/4... It was slipping in most gears under throttle... (Dunno if it had anything to do with 335kw@ the wheels? )Anyway... Upgraded to a Mal Woods option 3 and dont think I will ever look back...It's lighter then the stock clutch and grabs like a whore wrapping her hands around your old fella... Urtle Member 5 Member For: 17y 7m 3d Posted 24/10/08 12:21 AM Share Posted 24/10/08 12:21 AM All,I need to ask a quick question regarding Exedy clutches.Ive got the XR6T only around 230rwkw but wanting to get it up to 320 in the near future. They are putting in the cushion button Exedy, just wanted to get the general consesus around here for the durability and scalability of this move....they said they had had issues with the MalWood and that's why werent putting one in.Cheers

A workshop or a mechanic?Welcome to the forum btw - took your time to post up!
Urtle Member 5 Member For: 17y 7m 3d Posted 24/10/08 12:38 AM Share Posted 24/10/08 12:38 AM (edited) Yeah been around for a while, but if I was going to add any value to the forum I was going to have to get a bit of experience (and forum reading!) under the belt.Had the BA MKII (NOV 04 build) since Jan 05, and has been running fine but now that warranty has jumped ship I thought it was time to get the mod ball rolling.Just got the basic package done at HFP (central muffler, wastegate etc) and needed to get the springs done as to be expected, but now that that is done the output jumped a bit and the clutch was skipping on the dyno. They gave me the option of a Malwood or Clutch industries, went with the Malwood but said that I wasnt impressed with increased costs, and then found that an Exedy had been put in, wasnt impressed, and they said it would do for what Ive got and sop I asked them to put in a more scalable clutch. Urtle Member 5 Member For: 17y 7m 3d Posted 24/10/08 12:50 AM Share Posted 24/10/08 12:50 AM Well that's where the expertise needs to come into play, either way its Exedy but one minute I hear ceramic plate is being put in, I call them next time they said the Cushion button is being delivered today...either way Ill be getting exact details when I get there but I want to make sure that Exedy clutches in general are solid because all I read is bad comments about them
