Guest Guests Posted 22/09/08 04:29 PM Share Posted 22/09/08 04:29 PM Cops have never checked my rim size on any of my cars so I don't think it's really a big deal. They'd have to be a real wa*ker to go to all that trouble! It's not like they'd know what size rims every car on the road can legally have... Plus a whole lot of other points that you the enthusiest does not know. Whether they decide to act on these points is an entirely different kettle of fish and a is generally dependant on the repore established between Mr Plod and your l;ovely or in some cases not solovely self.Scotty

It's not like they'd know what size rims every car on the road can legally have...I think they have more important things to worry about then a few inches here and there on our types of cars which are all reasonsbaly new, however when in doubt hand it out. No fine in NSW for this type of defect but the inconevience of forcing you as the owner to have the defect notice checked and cleared and avoid your rego being cancelled is a penalty in itself. Now before someone comes along and shoots me down as being blatantly wrong, there can be a small infringement for "drive with defect other" but not even worth writing about. And we should be more worried about 22's rubbing on the guard of a 25 year old lowered gemini displaying red P plates.I.B.
