Grab the hungie and cop your losses sweet. At the end of the day, it'll cause you less grief and put it behind you. Earlier this year I had a bloke from Vinidex (national company who supply plumbing retailers) side-swipe my Mrs Corolla. Even with 2 witnesses sighting the truck double-parked next to ours (in the 2 minutes our car was there), corporate-colour blue paint along our car and admission of guilt by the fleet manager they still did a complete 180 degree turn and denied everything. I would have spent 50+hrs chasing up things myself to ensure my insurance company saw it through, as they were ready to lay down as the driver denied everything and there wasn't a witness to the actual collision. 50 hours equates to $7,500 income and the damage was only $1800, but I was determined to make these *beep* pay. It took every part of my sensible side to not go and vandalise every single one of their fleets trucks. I feel your pain man, I really do. I've said it before - people are f*cked. I actually had a kid in my neighbours house throwing rocks on my carport one day - I was away but my missus was home and saw them. His mum was watching him too and didn't say anything. This is a decent neighbourhood too - right! I went to the local repair shop first thing this morning and the guy comes out to go over it. He says to me "what colour is that?", so I say it's called silhouette, it's mostly black but has a blue fleck through it. Then he proceeds to start rubbing my rear spoiler with his greese monkey hand so he could get a closer look... I take a deep breath and think to myself 'UN-F#CK!N BELIEVABLE' (Adventures of Ford Fairlane style), and you call yourself a paint specialist. I don't want to take it back to him... I couldn't see any advertisers who specialise in body repair/paint in Brisbane (western suburbs)? Does anyone know of anyone who can fix my car, someone people can vouch for? I don't want to take it just anywhere.

I took my modded show car. After we got to the camp site, I was setting up the tent when this cow in a Land Cruiser parked within a Bee's dick of tmy car (in a big open camping ground). She then told her kids to uppack the car, on the side my car was parked. One of the kids belted my car with a folding chair and I went off at her. She said nothing and walked away. The her big fat husband came over and wanted to blue because I'd sworn at his wife. I went nuts at him, told him how stupid they were to park so close, then get their kids to unload the car, with no respect for other people's property. He told me it was just a car so I suggested he wouldn't care if I started to belt his car with my tent peg hammer then. I told him to f off, but there was no hope in hell that they would've paid for anything. On another occation I was sitting in my car, waiting for my wife in a carpark, when the front and back passenger doors of a Range Rover both opened and belted my car. I got out, said they'd hit the car, and (sounds familiar) they said they hadn't. I showed them the damage, but they said it must've already been there and walked away. From previous experience I found that revenge was the best soloution so I moved my car, walked back, tore off their rear view mirrors and left them on the bonnet. Not nice in hindsight, but I figured we were even.

Ghosti NOT THERE!... THERE! Member 852 Member For: 16y 6m 28d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 15/09/08 12:48 AM Share Posted 15/09/08 12:48 AM Had an old *beep* in a Corolla open his door into my Commy ute in a Maccas car park once.He smacked it open, looked down at the dent he left, then looked directly at me (I was almost back to my car) and I said "you gotta watch that mate" and he just turned his head and walked straight past me... DIDN'T SAY A WORD!I wouldn't have cared if he'd said sorry as the ute already had some marks on it.Anyway I didn't start screaming, I just stayed really calm. I figured that if he didn't value my property enough to at least apologise for the damage, he wouldn't mind havin' a bare-metal twin GT stripe around the Corolla, courtesy of my big fat Late model camira key. I made sure there was no gaps so it was just one looooooooooong continuous twin stripe from the centre of the front grille all the way around and back again. If you're reading this you f*cking *beep* I hope you die in a house fire.
