It neatens it up heaps. To do this just measure out were the towbar arm protrudes and then mark the cut out. then stanley knife a line along the lines till the incisions are deep. Then get a hacksaw blade and start cutting alond the incisions until youve cut it out. Then use a stanley knife to clean the edges up.You will have to move the trailer loom back because it protrudes past the cap.you might need a battery drill to screw it further back on the plate. Hope this helps you out. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/49691-towbar-cap/ Share on other sites

So you can't even tell the car has a towbar. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/49691-towbar-cap/#findComment-733263 Share on other sites

But yeah if you were gonna buy one, that would be a good Idea Edited 13/09/08 04:10 AM by F6RD Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/49691-towbar-cap/#findComment-733292 Share on other sites
