I need to source a set of 18" rims (as most R spec rubber is really only available up to 18" at the moment) for my FG F6. I have the standard 4 pot Brembo calipers. Now the question arises - which rims will fit the FG and what are the consequences of putting the same off set rim on the front and rear of the car (rather than the different off sets that FPV's usually run)?Or should I stump the extra money and buy "custom" rims that have the same offset as the standard rims but 18" ilo 19" standard size? Also, can I go up in wheel width, to say a 9 or 9.5" width?Any advice would be appreciated. Anyone with any experience of fitments to the FG yet??

There are many wheels that will fit (trust me, I have a BF2 F6). The problem is they arent the crap chromey chinese blingers that many of the boys like and you can get from your local tyre shop. First up sizing, 18x8.5 +30 Front and 18x9.5 +38 or thereabouts on the rear would be ideal. you will need to get the guards rolled. Look at the Japanese brands Enkei (rpf1), Work (cr kai) and Rays (re30, ce28n). You want the high clearance models, many of them are designed to fit with Brembos on Japanese cars. I have Work Emotion CR KAI in 18x8.5 +30 all round, I didnt want to wider rears and I run Advan A13s which are excellent.

They will fit on your 19 inch wheels and come in the size required. They get a good review for R spec tyres.Benny

I have just managed to find the G Max Boston (M100) that just fits in the required size. I have to say I like the look of them so much against the Nitro Paint that I'm thinking of buying a set of 20's for the street!Lowering the car with a Tein (sp?) kit is next on the agenda week after next.In my trials I began to think that the fitment had changed for the FG - but managed to fit a 18*8 from my BA2 F6 on the front of the FG - so if anyone is interested it seems the fitment HAS NOT changed from BA/BF etc.
