And just to be safe, id make sure that the pipe going from your cross over directly into your turbo is connected properly...

Mine came loose and sounded a hell of a lot better but you run the risk of damage if any nasties sneek in!

If you're using the standard 25mm adaptor to the BOV it won't vent enough air to avoid the surge. Try welding a 38mm adaptor on, it'll make a huge differnce

Hi

I have this same problem with my ute, I have a rapid cooler kit and cheapo alloy bov. when it boost to about 5psi the bov will open and small wosh, but if it boosts high then it will have a big wosh/chop sound out the airfilter side then a small wosh out the bov side. I find when I back off the throttle that my throttle is slow to shut or something, beacause the needle on the boost gauge doesnt snap back to vac just slowly goes back so there for a split second there isnt enough suck on the bov to open it. I have posted about it but no one seems to have had the problem. Maybe just not big enough bov to vent higher boost.

I have given up it sounds pretty cool anyways

I get this in my car cos I got the bov screwed up tight. if there aint enough pressure it wont be able to push the piston open on the bov so then u get the flutter. (that's what I have been told)
