This all took place on a private road equipped with a set of privatly owned traffic lights didn't it Guys? We wouldn't want to be promoting street racing would we??

Yeah plenty of those around.

How can we really compare why he got flogged by an XR8 without seeing it and just going off that everything was stock.

I.B.

Sounds like you need a Expensive Daewoo mate, you wouldnt have lost then, especially to an xr8 :P

your starting a fight with the wrong people mate. 1 you drivea Expensive Daewoo 2 a V8. play nice.

as for being beaten by a xr8 either operator problems which practise will fix or he's full of crap no shame in losing to a modified V8. I wouldnt be ashamed especially by the xr8 sitting in my tuners workshop which puts out over 900rwhp its a bloody animal or a few of the T/T SS's wiith standard eng puttin out a touch over 600rwhp inccluding his own.

You shouldn't be too surprised with the result. They will be very even both of them, he may have just got the jump off the line.

My brothers BF XR8, stock (except for centre muffler removed) and dads BF2 XR6T 100% stock had a race at Willowbank raceway recently.

Both did 13.8, both 6spd autos.

Not sure if my brothers is a bit of a freak motor or not.

Yeah I reckon he got the jump.. IMO yes the T's are quicker but not by that much... But the feeling you get when ya chop a V8 is the best!!!

4.5 psi doesnt seem right for 220rwkw XR6T.My old ute had a dodgy actuator and was making only 3 psi and 165rwkw.Once replaced it made 208rwkw on 7 psi stock.

theres a few of these " I lost to this " threads going around lately..

you lost man, take it to the chin and get over it.

if everyone made a thread for everytime they lost to something " on a public road " this forum would be closed.

spend whatever you want and do whatever mods you want, something will always be quicker then you.

my 2c.
