I'm now thinking sometime in November I might finally make my move. Test drove an FG the other day and I don't think I can wait any longer.I am looking at getting a new FG XR6T in nitro with premium sound, air bags, bluetooth, floor mats and alarm. What sort of price should I expect to be able to achieve (drive away) in light of Fords current offer of national fleet pricing for all customers?I was hoping around $45k from a dealer here in Brisbane. Is this realistic?Cheers Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/49644-what-have-you-paid-for-fg-xr6t/page/2/#findComment-746343 Share on other sites

If you get rejection, shoot an email to every Ford dealer you can think of stating this price and wait for the replies. YOu will get some bullsh!t lets talk and we'll see what we can do but stick to this figure and you should be right.I.B. boosted_sa said: Ive been told around the 48k mark with lux pack, tech pack and tow bar. but that's fleet discount.Unlikely. that's the general price with options and the worlds most expensive car wash. . . dealer delivery.I.B. bunna Donating Members 813 Member For: 18y 8m 22d Posted 02/11/08 11:57 AM Share Posted 02/11/08 11:57 AM Employees generally get around a 20% discount on new locally built stuff (less off FPV), although the exact amount varies depending on position. Basically a 45k base XR6 turbo is 39 before any other who-hah. But heck, its only fair - if you still want one after building/designing/being involved in them for a living, then why not pay less?
